Coastal Villa
Set within the dunes of Bergen aan Zee, this coastal villa by Architectenbureau Rolf Bekker is shaped by horizon, shelter and light. A sculpted base anchors the residence in the landscape, while the open upper level extends towards the sea through panoramic glazing and deep overhangs. Textured façades and the distinctive copper roof respond to the muted tones and changing conditions of the North Sea coast. Wesley Bergen’s architectural photography follows the villa from daylight into dusk, exploring the contrast between solidity and openness, landscape and interior warmth.
